My Nintendo ds lite Lite Hinge Is Breaking

The Nintendo DS features two screens dividing the portable console into two halves, placed on just one hinge. An original Nintendo DS hinge connected both halves on the center in the device. The redesigned Ds lite Lite (and later models) carries a stiffer hinge than its original counterpart, leaving it at risk from breaking. Players can repair a Nintendo ds lite Lite hinge after some concentration and the appropriate replacement parts.

Instructions

Extract the battery as well as cover before you take the screws inside battery bed, the middle screw at the hinge, and also the two screws at the pinnacle-left. Lift off the trunk cover, and pull the "L" and "R" shoulder buttons and their ds lite repair parts aside.

2. Remove the screws securing the motherboard on the left and right side. Slip off the black microphone and white antenna wires on the right on the DS game socket. Pull the motherboard out from the plastic housing carefully, taking care not to damage the ribbon cables.

3. Push the touchscreen technology, from your front in the device, to loosen the motherboard from the plastic housing. Unclip the ribbon cable from the motherboard to part ways both halves. Loosen and remove the residual screws around the right side of the device. Take away the black attachment (containing the DS power and charging light) holding both halves with the housing together. Slip the cables away from the housing, and carefully detach both halves.

4. Rotate and gently pull the ribbon cable and also the metal sleeve from your left side of the device. Retrieve the hinge, employing a little force as appropriate. Slide the replacement hinge in the left socket of the plastic shell, taking care to roll the ribbon cable to fit. Push the replacement axis in the right side of the shell, correctly aligning it with all the device.

5. Thread the superior half's loose cables in to the bottom 1 / 2 the shell from the housing space around the left side. Press the hinge in to the socket with little force, and reattach the black attachment on the right of the device. Reattach underneath housing to the peak, using the long silver screws. Return the disassembled buttons towards housing, and take care to properly align them in their correct spots. Reassemble your Nintendo DS Lite by reversing the first disassembly. jklzaeqc 1031
