Troubleshoot the DSI

The Nintendo DSi is usually a feature-filled portable gaming device which includes two screens, a directional pad, face and shoulder buttons. Since the device is extremely compact and uses specialized hardware because of its screens, all major issues have to be repaired by Nintendo or an official fix-it shop. However, commonly encountered problems for example button sticking and DSi Power Adapters can be troubleshooted somewhat about the Nintendo DSi and never have to send the product to Nintendo.

Clean Sticking Buttons

1. Let down the Nintendo DSi and disconnect any cables which may be attached.

2. Scrub around all of the buttons employing a dry toothbrush.

3. Clean the D-Pad by pressing one direction while washing the other. Doing this will give you a larger area to clean up.

Power Issues

4. Insert small side of the AC adapter into the AC Adapter Connectoron the rear of the Nintendo DSi.

5. Plug the AC adapter right into a DSi Power Cords. The charging indicator should turn orange, indicating the product is charging properly.
