Replace a Chip on a Nintendo ds lite Lite Motherboard

Once you know a little something about electronics and think there could possibly be a problem with one of the chips with your Nintendo DS Lite's motherboard, you have access to it and fix the problem. After disassembling your DS case, you can access the motherboard and diagnose any complications with--and replace--any chips around the board. The process does require some concentration, but it is relatively straightforward and shouldn't take enough time.

Instructions

1. Go out your Nintendo DS Repair Parts, close the screen and put it faced down using a sturdy work area.

2. Make use of your Phillips screwdriver to clear out the only screw holding battery compartment cover in place. Take off the cover and take away battery.

3. Make use of screwdriver to take out the six screws at the base side in the Ds lite, as well as the two screws located within the battery compartment.

4. Insert the tip of this case opener tool in the seam relating to the bottom panel on the Ds lite and the entire body with the device.

5. Work your way across the seam before bottom panel separates on the Nintendo ds. Set it aside. The green circuit card will now be visible in the Ds by nintendo.

6. Locate the black chip about the motherboard that you would like to change and employ your soldering iron to desolder each silver chip connector pin on the base of the motherboard. Set the chip aside.

7. Replace the old chip with an all new one and solder the connector pins on the connectors on the circuit board.

8. Reassemble the DS bag from the reverse order you took it apart. jklzaeqc 1102
