What If the PS3 Controller Doesn't Switch off?

When you use your Ps3 DualShock or Sixaxis controller, among the four lights in the top of the controller fires up. When the ps3 battery is not really in use, the lights on top of the controller disconnect. If these lights don't turn off, the controller is just not shutting down properly. There are numerous of troubleshooting steps you can take should this happen, as both versions will seek to handle the situation.



Initial Troubleshooting
Press and support the "PS" button involved with the controller for a second or two till the PS menu appears. Highlight the "Shut off the Controller" option and press the "X" button. Resync
Press the "Power" button within the front with the PS3 system to show the device on. Plug one end of the USB charge cable that sported the machine into among the system's USB ports. Plug the alternative end from the charge cable into your USB charge port within the PS3 controller. The controller will now first turn on and sync while using the system.

Discharge Battery
If resetting the controller didn't work, you may want to execute a different type of reset. Leave the controller on until its battery discharges completely.
